The City of Kyoto perfume by the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella was created to celebrate 40 years of twinning between Kyoto and Florence. It is a floral bouquet where the typical Tuscan notes of iris, the symbol of the city of Florence, are combined with the sweet and sensual notes of the typical Japanese lotus flower. The perfume opens with fruity and fresh top notes of jasmine and Ylang-ylang, punctuated by deeper hints of bergamot and orange. The fruity notes then introduce the base notes of Florentine Iris and lotus flower.
